alem.school is an innovative coding school in Kazakhstan built around practice, peer-to-peer learning and a 24/7 format. The project explains a complex education model: no classic lectures or grades — bootcamp, real tasks, teamwork and students moving at their own pace.
Challenge
Before our work the project had an overloaded, slow website with no clear structure and no acquisition logic. The task was not just to lighten the page — it was to help the school enter the market more clearly: explain the learning format, simplify the path to applying, and prepare the digital system for ad and partner traffic.
A separate task was packaging the product so it reads clearly for different audiences: prospective students, parents, partners, funds and education organisations.
What we did
We started with market research and student-acquisition scenarios: who makes the decision, what barriers block an application, and which messages belong on the first screen and in the site structure.
Then we helped lighten and optimise the site: cut excess weight, make the user journey clearer, strengthen the structure and prepare the project for launch. We connected a CRM so applications would not get lost and the team could see the funnel: from first interest to registration and further communication.
We also supported the launch: packaging the education tracks, strengthening the product pitch for the market, partners and funds, and setting up communication around student intake.
Result
We launched the project in 1.5 months, then supported and refined the system for another month after the start.
After launch applications grew roughly 2.5x (per the client). Student flow increased alongside, and site traffic grew. The school gained a clearer digital structure: a lighter site, applications landing in the CRM, and a system the team can use to scale intakes and partner activity.
